Vancouver Rubbermen (VRM) currently meet monthly on the first Saturday of the month at the same time and place as the Vancouver Pups and Handlers monthly mosh.
Currently, VRM members bring rubber bondage equipment and rubber gear and clothing to try on at our monthly meets to let the new and curious try out the clothing and the variations in rubber bondage possible. It is a great opportunity to socialize and network, as we also discuss upcoming events and what guys would like to see us do next. If you’ve ever been curious about wearing rubber or trying out rubber bondage, this is a great opportunity to give it a go! We are behind the curtain in the big room at Pumpjack…it’s secluded, you don’t have to worry about being gawked at!
VRM would like to do more varied activities in more places. If you have some ideas of activities or venues you think could or would host a Vancouver Rubbermen event in your area, let us know! We are planning social nights out in rubber and attending events where we can shine!
Throughout the year, we are involved in Vancouver Fetish Weekend in July, marching in Vancouver Pride under the VRM banner, running a demo booth at New West Pride in August, and hosting Rubbout parties (for Rubbout 26, hopefully the Play Party!).
There is some discussion about VRM hosting a future Mr. Vancouver Rubber or Mr. Northwest Rubber title that would vie for a Pacific Rubber title going on to Mister International Rubber, which takes place in Chicago every November. We are working with our fraternal rubbermen organizations in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco to assess the future feasibility of this. If you’ve ever dreamed of representing Vancouver and the region with a rubberman title, this may be a great opportunity for you!
Here are the upcoming VRM events. We can always add or remove based on interest and availability. For example, we may not end up having events in some of the summer months due to long weekends and none of the guys being available to host on those weekends. Request to be added to our Facebook group or follow us on Twitter (@vanrubbermen) to get the latest updates.
